A lower-case wordmark that ends where a sentence does. The amber full stop carries the brand on its own: favicon, loader, and the ink that spreads behind every screen.
Case study · Brand & website
modo. builds brands and websites for small businesses in Portugal, then runs the work behind them. It started as a back-office service with a template site. We moved it brand-first, wrote it as one idea per screen, and set it up the way it sets up its clients: its own domain, European hosting and email, and enquiries that land in a real inbox.

One family in two weights. Light for everything said, medium for the name. No mixed hierarchies, no third typeface.
Each service is a word with the same full stop, so none outranks the others. Amber marks the brand, never one service.
The site opens on the wordmark and a loader. The full stop drops away and becomes a faint ink blot that re-forms on every screen. Headlines rise in, key phrases underline, and the menu fills the page with large, light links.

A back-office offer competing with €100 websites, sold through a template that looked like everyone else’s.
Brand leads, back office supports. One idea per screen, services that swipe sideways, and every price on the page.
Enquiries go through a form we built on its own hosting, straight to the modo. inbox. No third-party form tool, spam filtered before it arrives.
